Our manufacturer for Printed Armature Pancake Servo Motors, PMW Dynamics, is a pioneer for the development of the in-wheel electric disc motor and have delivered many thousands of high-powered and compact in-wheel disc motors for robotic traction and hoist applications. Other fields of application include marine, aerospace & defence, heavy industrial and commercial automotive markets.

 

The most important features of our brushed pancake disc motors are:

  • permanent magnet DC-brushed
  • Ironless Rotor - near zero cogging torque
  • ultra flat design
  • simple DC control
  • windings optimized for battery operation 24Vdc / 48 Vdc (other windings possible)
  • 3 armature sizes: 9, 12 & 16 cm
  • magnet materials: AlNiCo or Neodymium
  • 4 ranges: GP, GM, GN & GR

Our brushless disc servo motor manufacturer, PMW Dynamics, produces both internal and external rotor disc motors for wheel drives for traction and lifting applications in mobile robotic systems.
