The ERD electric cylinders with ball screw or leadscrew are designed as a cost-effective electrical replacement for pneumatic cylinders; they are compatible with NEMA standards and are therefore suitable for mounting many servo and stepper motors. In 4 sizes thrust forces up to 2.2kN and strokes up to 610mm can be achieved. Mechanically, various options such as guide systems, mounting options, anti-twist protection, protection classes (IP67 or IP69K) and also stainless steel housings etc. can be offered. The ERD electric cylinders are available in sizes 06, 10, 15 and 20. ERD linear leadscrew actuators are well suited for applications in packaging technology (stoppers, sorting mechanisms and switch drives, format adjustment, etc.).
In addition, the ERD-SS2 stainless steel electric cylinders with IP69K are available in sizes 10, 15 and 20 with a ready-made housing for a servo motor (NEMA23) or a stepper motor (NEMA17 or NEMA23); the motor can be pre-assembled by Tolomatic, providing a ready-made linear actuator for applications with high pressure cleaning, which can be used directly in applications with high hygiene requirements such as food processing, beverage bottling plants or medical packaging technology.

The RSH ball screw or roller screw linear actuators are Tolomatic's latest innovation and are designed for hygienic food or beverage applications where higher forces are required for pressing, pumping, cutting or slicing. The servo motors are mounted on flexible flange systems, so that hygienic servo motors from various manufacturers are suitable. In 3 sizes, thrust forces up to 35kN and strokes up to 1.2m can be achieved. IP69K protection is standard and together with the polished 316 stainless steel housing, welded seams, a breather/purge port and the dual replaceable sealing rings, allows high pressure cleaning even with corrosive liquids in the system. The re-lubrication system for the spindle ensures a longer service life and allows convenient lubrication without dismantling the electric cylinder.
Due to the flexible motor attachment on the RSH electric cylinders, food-grade servo motors from many manufacturers (especially Kollmorgen) can be attached. Thus applications of all voltage classes 24V dc, 48V dc, 230V ac and 400V ac can be realised. All encoders and options regarding brakes, connectors etc. can also be taken into account, so that compatibility with all common controllers can be achieved. In this way, conclusive concepts of an electric actuating cylinder can be realised with regard to food suitability and high-pressure cleaning (WashDown).

Tolomatic IMA-S hygienic stainless steel electric cylinder with integrated servo motor
The IMA-S is the integration of an electric actuator cylinder made of stainless steel and a servo motor in a common housing. Tolomatic addresses applications in food technology and the beverage industry with the hygienic stainless steel electric cylinder IMA-S. The IP69K hygienic design features a 316 stainless steel construction and hygienic mounting and cable handles that allow open machine design and effective cleaning in the field. Even with the IP69K design, special attention has been paid to the hygiene requirements, so that bacterial growth and corrosion are prevented even with aggressive cleaning. The patented relubrication system and the FDA-approved food-grade grease used also meet the requirements of the food industry and guarantee an extremely long service life.
As with the standard IMA electric cylinders, both ball screws and roller screws are available for the IMA-S hygienic stainless steel electric cylinders with IP69K. Optionally, an anti-rotation device can be integrated (IMA-SA), which makes external guidance superfluous. The IMA-S stainless steel electric cylinders offer forces up to 11kN and can also be used for applications with high duty cycles.
The integrated standard servo motors are 8-pole and are available in two overall lengths and winding variants each for 230V ac or 400V ac / 480V ac; special windings e.g. for 24V dc, 48V dc are possible; resolvers, EnDAT 2.2, Hiperface and Hiperface DSL and others can be implemented as feedback and brakes are also available. Various connector options and pin assignments ensure compatibility with all common controllers, especially of course Copley and Kollmorgen.
IMA-S stainless steel electric cylinders are designed for applications such as cutting cheese or sausage, guiding, sorting, distributing food on conveyor belts or filling systems and pumping and dosing applications.

The IMA Electric Cylinder from Tolomatic is a Linear Servo Actuator which consists of a ball screw or planetary roller screw and a servo motor which are integrated into a compact and robust housing. The IMA Electric Cylinder Servo Actuator offers forces up to 30kN and can be used for applications with high duty cycles. The selection of various encoder systems facilitates integration with all common servo amplifier variants. Tolomatic's patented relubrication concept guarantees an extremely long service life of the IMA High Performance Linear Servo Actuators. Relubrication can be carried out easily and without dismantling the electric cylinder, reducing machine downtime for maintenance.
The IMA linear ball screw / oller screw electric cylinders are designed as the electrical replacement for pneumatic or hydraulic linear cylinders. In contrast to these systems, they do not require a costly pneumatic or hydraulic supply, are clean and do not have any contamination by air or oil. Tolomatic RSA/GSA leadscrew actuators for high load capacity
The RSA/GSA leadscrew actuators are linear electric actuators (electric cylinders), available in two versions for the low to medium (RSA-ST) and the higher (RSA-HT) force range, optionally with a linear guide (GSA). The RSA/GSA electric cylinders are designed for industrial applications with high demands on load capacity and service life; for this purpose, generously dimensioned bearings, internal buffer end stops and a robust aluminum housing are standard features of the RSA/GSA spindle actuators. The RSA-HT electric linear actuators (electric cylinders) are additionally equipped with a patented relubrication system, which allows the leadscrew to be relubricated easily and conveniently without dismantling the actuator, thus significantly extending the service life of the leadscrew.
The installation of additional sensors is already prepared and there is a wide range of options for installation.
With the GSA series, the RSA-ST linear leadscrew actuators are supplemented by linear guide rods with up to 914mm stroke, which allow the absorption of higher side loads.

Tolomatic electric linear actuator (electric cylinder) RSX for extremely high forces as a replacement for hydraulic actuators
The RSX linear electric actuators (electric cylinders) are planetary roller screw type linear actuators and offer extremely high forces up to 133kN; they are designed as electric replacements for hydraulic linear actuators. A special version for presses with up to 178kN thrust is also available. The advantages are obvious: electric linear actuators are more efficient, more flexible, quieter and do not cause dirt through leaking oil lines. These RSX roller screw linear actuators are designed and tested for long life and can be used under extreme conditions and in cold weather.
Due to the flexible motor mounting the RSX electric cylinders can be equipped with servo motors of the voltage classes 230V ac and 400V ac and all encoders and options regarding brakes, connectors etc. can be considered, so that compatibility with all common controllers can be achieved. Tolomatic TRS Twin Profile Rail Stage Actuator - precise and robust
The TRS twin profile rail linear table with enclosed construction is designed from the ground up to be stable and precise. This linear stage actuator is available in sizes 100 and 165 and can handle loads up to 615 kg. To maximise design flexibility, the TRS actuator is freely configurable in stroke to minimise the overall footprint of the machine. The assembly of xy or xyz systems is already prepared and no further mounting plates are required.

TOLOMATIC MXE ELECTRIC RODLESS LEADSCREW TABLES / ACUTATORS
The MXE rodless linear leadscrew actuators of our partner Tolomatic were developed to be used with moderate to high load capacity and guidance. Furthermore, they are characterized by long service life and load capacity. They are available in 2 different versions: fixed bearing MXE-S, or with profile rail MXE-P. Both types are available in 6 different sizes to guarantee a high flexibility.
The MXE-S rodless linear leadscrew actuators are designed for low to medium load capacity. The MXE-S rodless linear leadscrew tables have a robust plain bearing, which is insensitive to dust and dirt and can be replaced on site. They also have a lightweight aluminium housing.
The MXE-P rodless linear leadscrew actuators are designed for moderate to high load carrying capacity.
