HOUSED ELECTRIC SLIP RING CAPSULES / ROTARY UNIONS

We offer electric slip rings in housings both with and without hollow shafts. The excellent EMC properties of the signal rings with gold/gold contacts allow them to be used for sensitive signal transmissions such as measurement data in the AV sector, video signals or high-frequency data signals (fieldbus data, e.g. Ethernet /EtherCAT up to 1Gbit/s); the possible combinations with power rings in some sizes of our rotary unions provide flexibility for a wide range of applications.

 

On request, we also offer single and multi-way rotating unions for media such as air, water, steam coolant and hydraulic oil. These can be combined with the classic electrical slip rings to form multi-media rotary unions for use in automation technology and machine technology.

MODULAR DRUM SLIP RINGS

Drum slip rings are modular slip rings consisting of a slip ring body and a separate brush holder. The customer is responsible for mounting on the shaft and the corresponding EMC and protective measures.

Our single and multiway rotating unions for media such as air, water, steam coolant and hydraulic oil round off the range for connecting rotating elements to the stationary outside world. Rotating unions for media are often combined with classic electrical slip rings to form multimedia rotating unions for use in automation and machine technology.
