XENUS - DIGITAL SERVO DRIVE FOR AC-SUPPLY up to 230Vac

The Xenus servo drives are modern modular digital servo controllers designed to operate on a 230Vac supply (single-phase or three-phase).

The Xenus controllers are parameterized via the very convenient and powerful CME2 software. The integrated indexer functionality allows complete control of individual axes. Communication with individual commands in ASCII format via the RS-232 interface is possible as well as pre-programming and storage of entire programs and their control via inputs.

Since the modular Xenus servo drives have a +/-10V interface, they can easily be used as a digital replacement for many analog servo amplifiers in central control concepts.

The Xenus servo drives are equipped with a CAN interface as standard (CANopen, DSP402 profile). The new Xenus Plus servo controllers optionally offer an EtherCAT interface. The connection to these two fieldbus systems opens up new possibilities for automation concepts with distributed intelligence.

The Xenus controllers are 100% software compatible with the Accelnet servo controllers and Stepnet stepper controllers from Copley. This provides an ideal platform for applications with motors with different technologies and performance classes.

AKD Intelligent Servo Drives for 230V (single phase)

Thanks to Ethernet-based communication, the AKD series servo controllers can be integrated quickly and easily into any application. Kollmorgen has equipped the AKD servo drives with a number of technical refinements and open interfaces that allow the servo controllers to be commissioned plug and play. In terms of drive power, the servo amplifiers offer maximum dynamics, control quality and performance within their very small device volume. This makes the AKD Servodrives powerful spatial wonders that support the construction of space-saving control cabinets. The drive becomes really round when the servo controllers are combined with other axis components from Kollmorgen to create an efficient solution. This increases the service life, speed and productivity of machines by up to 50%.

The AKD servo controllers are complemented by the AKD-PDMM. The AKD-PDMM is the perfect combination of the highly dynamic servo controllers of the AKD series with powerful motion and sequence control. One AKD-PDMM acts as master for up to 16 servo axes, for which normal AKD-P servo controllers are used and connected to the AKD-PDMM master via the EtherCAT interface. This solution is suitable for applications with a limited number of axes that place high demands on the synchronization of the axes with each other. S300 SERVO DRIVE FOR 230 VAC

The digital servo amplifiers of the S300 series are compact and easy-to-operate amplifiers that allow maximum flexibility in project planning. The S300 servo controllers are available for 230Vac (single-phase or three-phase) as well as for 3x 400Vac - in both versions the necessary mains filters are already integrated. The compact size saves space in the control cabinet and allows the 230V version to be installed in 200mm control cabinets. The extreme connection variability reduces the required type variety. A series of option cards for additional I/Os or various fieldbus connections make the S300 one of the most flexible servo controllers on the world market. S700 SERVO DRIVE with Safety according SIL2 and SIL3

The digital servo amplifiers of the S700 series are flexible servo controllers that meet the growing demands of machine builders in terms of performance, productivity, reliability and, in view of current machine directives, safety. With the S700, Kollmorgen offers a servo amplifier with tested safety to SIL2 and SIL3. The S700 servo controllers are available for 230Vac (single-phase or three-phase) as well as for 3x 400Vac - in both versions the necessary mains filters are already integrated. As a fully digital servo controller, the S700 is particularly recommended for complex drive tasks with drive-integrated safety technology due to its extended functionality. The consistent safety concept offers all important functions for SIL 2 PLd or SIL 3 Ple. The servocontrollers can be freely programmed in the IEC 61131-3 languages. Kollmorgen uses Ethernet systems such as EtherCAT including the corresponding safety protocols for the safety-related communication of the SIL2 and SIL3 safety functions.
